• Dr. Oaks was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is marries with six children and five grandchildren. He enjoys Jeep 4x4 wheeling, hunting, snowboarding, and playing the drums. He has been a member of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons (ACOS) since 1996. He has served at the national level as a member of the ACOS' CTV Executive Committee and was the Chair of the Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery Division for 2 years. Dr. Oaks has also served as a Board of Governor to the ACOS
